Responsible Gambling with tmax88
tmax88 believes that a healthy playing experience starts with self-awareness and sensible control. This page provides guides, control tools and support resources to help you play within limits that are comfortable for you.
Our position
Why does responsible gambling matter to tmax88?
tmax88 treats gambling as a form of entertainment — not a source of income or a way to solve financial problems. This platform is built for players who know their own limits, and we make sure every feature in tmax88 supports that approach.
We provide a range of self-control tools so you can set your own playing parameters. If you feel that gambling has gone beyond entertainment, there are steps you can take — and we are here to help.
tmax88 services are for individuals aged 21 and above only. If you find yourself spending more than you can afford, please contact our support or use the self-exclusion tool available.
Core principles
Six Pillars of Responsible Gambling at tmax88
Every tmax88 player deserves to play in an environment that is safe, fair and fully within their own control.
Strict Age Verification
tmax88 applies a thorough age verification process. Only players aged 21 and above are permitted to register and play. This is not just a policy — it is a responsibility we take seriously to protect young people from the risks of gambling.
Self-Set Deposit Limits
You can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits directly from your tmax88 account. Once a limit is set, the system will block any deposit that exceeds that amount — helping you play within a budget you set yourself.
Session Time Limits
Choose how long you want to play each session. tmax88 supports session time limits so you do not spend too long on the platform without realising it. A notification will appear when the time you have set is almost up.
Self-Exclusion
If you feel you need a break for a certain period, the tmax88 self-exclusion tool lets you temporarily close access to your account — whether for a few days, weeks or longer. During this period, the account cannot be accessed and bonuses will not be offered.
Temporary Break Mode
Unlike full exclusion, the break mode lets you pause for a while without closing your account entirely. It is suitable when you feel you need to step away before continuing with a clearer head.
24/7 Support in Malay
The tmax88 support team is ready to assist at all times via live chat and email, in Malay and English. If you have concerns about your gambling habits or need guidance on using the control tools, contact us any time.
Know the warning signs
What are the signs of problem gambling?
Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of background or experience. Recognising the early signs is the most important first step.
⚠️ If you recognise two or more of the signs below in yourself or someone you care about, consider taking a break and speaking with someone you trust or contacting tmax88 support.
Feeling the need to bet with larger amounts each time to get the same level of satisfaction.
Finding it hard to stop playing even after intending to do so, or regularly playing longer than planned.
Using money meant for daily needs such as rent, bills or food for betting.
Lying to family members or friends about gambling activity or the amount of money spent.
Betting as a way to escape feelings of stress, anxiety or personal problems.
Trying to recover losses by continuing to bet — a behaviour known as chasing losses.
Personal relationships, work or health beginning to suffer because of the time and money spent on gambling.
Control is in your hands

Practical guide
Tips for Playing in a Healthy and Responsible Way
Set a budget before you play
Decide how much you are willing to lose before starting a session. Treat it as an entertainment cost — the same as buying a movie ticket or going out for dinner.
Do not chase losses
If you have reached your budget limit, stop. Increasing your bets to recover losses rarely works out well and can make things worse.
Play with a clear head
Avoid playing when you are stressed, tired or under the influence of alcohol. The best decisions are made when you are in a good mental state.
Understand how the game works
Every slot and casino game has a different mechanism. Take time to understand how a game works before betting with real money.
Take regular breaks
Stepping away from the screen every few tens of minutes helps you stay focused and avoid impulsive decisions that come from playing non-stop for too long.
Maintain a balanced life
Gambling should only be one of many activities in your life. Make sure it does not take over time with family, work or other activities you enjoy.
